Billiards & Snooker
Billiards and snooker consists of 3 disciplines which are pool, snooker and English billiards.
Pool is known as a pocket in the family of cue sports and games played on a pool table with six receptacles called pockets along the rails, into which balls are deposited as the main goal of play. Snooker is a game played with cues on a billiard table in which the players use a cue ball (white) to pocket the other balls (fifteen red and six coloured) in a set order. English billiards is played with three balls, red, white and yellow. Each player has their own cue ball (one white and one yellow). There are three ways to score: in-offs, pots or cannon occurs.
There will be a total of 7 events for billiards and snooker. Events such as snooker singles (men’s), snooker doubles (men’s), English billiards singles (100 points up) (men’s), English billiards doubles (men’s), 9-ball pool singles (men’s and women’s) and 9-ball pool doubles (men’s).
